No time yet to read the article, but perhaps you'll find this off topic thing interesting. I sometimes let podcasts run while preparing food and such, and this was just on
Finished the video, thanks. I learned a lot has been done in tracing music's effects anatomically, especially in specific pathways in the brain.
It would be nice to see some research on music's interaction with the neural connections around the heart -- in addition to the brain -- which is something I've been reading about (the heart's rich neural network, that is, not music per se) on Substack's "A Midwestern Doctor"/The Forgotten Side of Medicine column.
Once I finish posting the stupid Star Trek/Warped Speed book (which would be nice to sell to a publisher at some point), I want to post some more writing on music. The next music-related piece would discuss the primacy of the heart -- that is, the role of pulse in music, aka rhythm -- in our response to music.
There are four book chapters still in the pipeline, and I'm trying to post them every couple of weeks, so that project should be done after the next two months --
Thanks I appreciate it and will check it out as soon as I get my ‘net access fixed, in a few days hopefully

He talks about a lot more than the headline tells. User "kitohp" added a summary with time marks.
It's about how music works in brain & body.
